Patrick's co-workers at The School of the Art Institute threw us a baby shower, and once again we were amazed at the generousity of those around us. We are so grateful to have so many people who care about us and Lil' Spence.

 

 

 

 

 

Our Christmas Party
Every year, Pat and I throw a Christmas Party to celebrate the Season with our friends and co-workers. This year was special as we now know many who have started their own families. It was wonderful to share the day with them and their children. It was fascinating to see what areas in our home will have to be padded in the future. Good observatory time.....

The Lovliest Day of Surprises

Sixteen of my dearest friends surprised me with a baby shower at The Drake Hotel's Tea Room and literally "showered" me with love and presents. I was and still am overwhelmed by the thought and effort put into this beautiful day by my three hostesses - Shannon, Chloe and Kerensa. For all of these loved ones, I am extremely grateful.

At the conclusion of the shower, I was driven home by Shannon, who had to make a "quick stop" at her house to pick up another present from boyfriend (now fiancee!!!) Fuji. Upon entering the house, I was delighted to find all the husbands and boyfriends and my Patrick waiting there with dinner ready and big smiles on their faces. It was an unending day of tidings and well wishes for our little one, and we have never felt so blessed.
